Where is colourschool located?

colourschool is located in the IDS building at 1399 Johnston Street on the ECIAD campus, one building east of the Charles H. Scott gallery. colourschool is also available online at www.colourschool.org.

How can I find out about colourschool events?

Programs generally occur at colourschool weekly. The colourschool online calendar displays information about each event and announcements for each event are broadcast through the colourschool mailinglist. Although colourschool is open during posted hours, it is always possible to make an appointment to use colourschool’s space and facilities.

How can people get involved in colourschool?

There are a variety of ways to become involved in colourschool, which include, but are not limited to the following: visitor, participant, host, researcher, lecturer, performer, online contributor, advocate, library borrower, etc… Note that colourschool can also be used as a workshop, classroom, or meeting space. Is there an admissions process for colourschool?

colourschool does not have an admissions policy. Everyone is welcome to attend colourschool events.

What is the pedagogy of colourschool?

colourschool does not have an official pedagogy and there are no faculty. It is an artist project run by Kristina Lee Podesva. All participants are, however, encouraged to engage collaboratively with the project.

There is never a charge for any colourschool event, service, or program.
